At 27 years old, I realised that not only life didn’t turn out the way I expect it to be, but it never will.
I struggle with various physical pain daily, especially stomach pain. I have constant heartburn and bloatedness. Worse, they interfere with my sleep and cause me to wake up tired. I spend half the day dealing with physical pain and that leaves me feeling exhausted.
But it doesn’t end there. In my suffering, I have also learned about the sufficiency of God’s grace. Corinthians says, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in your weakness. Also, Jesus said that ‘Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.’ That means only men and women who are bankrupt in themselves, who stop counting on what they have to make it, can see t
he kingdom of heaven.
