Reflecting on “Unwinding Anxiety”
看完 Unwinding Anxiety最大的感想是:大梦初醒,还好只荒唐了半生。作者将解决焦虑这个问题科学化,主要分为三个步骤。1)map out your habit loop. 2)ask yourself, what do I gain from this behaviour 3)use the bigger, better offer of curiosity and mindfulness to replace anxiety. 让我印象最深刻的是第二点,作者说要更新我们从一个习惯中所得到的“奖励值”。这样我们能清醒地意识到有些行为的伤害远远大于收益,例如酗酒,抽烟,暴饮暴食。片刻的愉悦之后是长久的痛苦,如果看清了这一点,那可能我们会更善待自己。
